I’m editing a font that my Serif DrawPlus always looks for (and when it’s not installed creates nagging error messages). Fortunately, uppercase and lowercase characters of the font are the same. I’m putting things I want to have handy (yet keep installed fonts few) in the lower-case glyph-edit windows. Right off, though, the first four glyphs pose a puzzle. They are
‘notdef’ (OK),
‘null’ (shows a pale blue lowercase ‘y’ with accent acute; why isn’t it blank like the no.1 glyph-edit windows on other fonts?)
‘CR’ (no pale-blue letter, but shouldn’t this no.2 edit-window have the caption ‘nonmarkingreturn’? other fonts do.)
and ‘space’ (OK)
Please advise me about the middle two glyph-edit windows. I’m grateful for your help!
