The horizontal bar below the glyph used to position points accurately has disappeared

I was making a font, happily using the numbers on the horizontal bar below the glyph to position points accurately.

I don’t know what I did, but that bar disappeared.

How do I get it back please?

I tried closing the program and restarting but that did not solve the problem.

I tried the Help facility but I do not know what it is called.

That does not work here, I get real time validation instead.

I am using FontCreator 8, I should have mentioned that.

I have searched for status bar and can find no reference to it.

F7 is the shortcut for Validation even in FontCreator 6.5

Try F4 for showing the Status Bar.

I found it under View Toolbars after learning from you that it is called the status bar.
