thin

i choose to thin, i need use this version to make a variable

1.value, i dont know how this calculate the value? the default are 10/10 but it not looks thin.
2. preserve side bearing are recommend to apply? what is for?

so, im afraid to change the point(nodes), because i want make a variable. so maybe later the result aren’t good. did you know how to solve it?

When you only apply Thin, the transformation reduces the stroke weight. Glyph outlines will become smaller, so you need to compensate for that. As you already noticed some parts of glyph outlines are already very thin, and will look awkward after the transform script. Those outlines require manual modifications.

This transform script includes a scale feature, which corrects the dimensions of the outlines:

Thin (42, 28) preserve bearings
Scale (106, 104) center
