Transparent filling instead of color

Hi there,

First of all, I’m sorry of this question has already been asked, but I’ve made a search with the “transparent” keyword in the forum and I couldn’t find an answer to my problem.

I am creating a symbol font from an EPS file. It is a warning symbol made of several objects and no compound path (looks more or less like this : http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20141214024456/age-of-ishtaria/images/f/f2/Warning-icon-hi.pngno) which I have imported on Font Creator.

I have followed the instructions from the video “How to make your own color fonts with FontCreator” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4BSK_ASOlw) and the WOFF test is successful. However, on Word and Framemaker, the parts that should be yellow show up as black and the parts that should be black show up as transparent.

Are the multicolor fonts only working on web explorers ? Is there a way to make it work in Windows apps ?

Thank you very much and sorry again if the answer to my question has already been told.

A search for “Color” would have been more successful.

Color support in applications is still very limited.
