"Missing" symbols - pls help

I just created a font out of my own handwriting. Everything works fine on the test page, as in every character created shows up on the test font screen, punctuation symbols and all. However, when I installed the font, the quotation mark (") and aprostophe (') symbols don’t appear when I tried using it on Word and Photoshop.
