I made a new font and am attempting to use it in Flash. What happens is that the font shows up OK when I type out my words but when I go to “Break Apart”, the counters on some letters (such as the “O” and “ZERO”) fill in. Any clues as to what I am doing wrong? Fun program (Font Creator that is…)

If this happens only with the fonts that you created in Font Creator, and not in all standard fonts, try validating the font to see if you have any inccorect contour directions.
A glyph like zero has two contours — the outer one should be clockwise, while the inner one should be anti-clockwise, which is what makes it white.
it appears that I was trying to use the font in “bold” and it is not bold, when I switched to regular it worked fine! thanks for the help and I will start “validating” things on fonts…
