Variable font installation problem on Mac

Hello support team!

I’ve met a problem testing my variable font on Mac. Installation process freezes and program offers a force quit.
Everything works just excellent on windows.
Firstly I faced this problem uploading the font file on myfonts, it failed a test with the same comment - installation problem on iOS.

Probably there is an obvious solution which I unfortunately don’t know? :slight_smile: Or do you need more information?

PS I also searched on forum and haven’t found any related topics. Sorry if this question have already been resolved.

We have an update coming which contains some improvements. Maybe it also solves this issue, so please try it:

Unfortunately, it didn’t help. Any other ideas probably?

Traditionally, I leave a link to google disk with font and FC project file: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Ny_w3ebaGEn7LMxyIPJuXxo5DmlYJZUC?usp=sharing

Maybe it will be useful if the problem is on the side of the software.

The only thing I noticed is your font contains spaces in the PostScript Name, which is not allowed.

Other than that, the font looks perfect to me.

If removing the spaces in the PostScript Name field does not solve the problem, I will contact people from Apple and if you give me permission, I will send the font file to them so they can look into it.

I would highly appreciate if you do contact people from Apple. I’ve updated the font on the link above with no spaces in PostScript Name field. You have permission to forward font files to Apple. Thanks!

I have send the font file to Apple. I will keep you posted.

P.s. not sure if you aware if this, but this forum is open to the world, so it might be wise to remove the link to the files. Or did you only grant access to me?
