# Version 14 & 15 Differences?

I want to know the difference between FontCreator versions 14 and 15.

I didn’t realize I had to pay extra to upgrade.

I guess I’ll have to make an additional purchase to know the features of version 15.

7. Improved join (union, intersection, exclusion, and also cut/knife) contours feature; including support for cubic curves
8. Improved support for UFO and DesignSpaces
9. Improved subsetting variable fonts
10. Order axes
11. Made optional mark attachment class for lookups obsolete (instead use a mark filtering set)
12. Cancel changes in edit field (ESC key)
13. Fixed remove overlap issue
14. New transform feature to round xy coordinates
15. Increased stability and some speed gains
16. Several other bug fixes and improvements
