I’ve made digital fonts for fun since the late 90’s. Always free, open source and they’re all over the place by now. I started out doing graffiti as a wee punk, but this is better: instead of seeing my stupid tag sprayed on a wall, I now get to see my stupid fonts used on a bag of chips, a film poster, a banner at a demo, a record sleeve, signage, a tv show, ooh a wine bottle, and a couple of beers, clothing, food packaging, even cookies, a porn site, trucks, many logos, store windows, airplanes, lots of movie and tv credits, music festivals… It really is lot of fun.
And even if’n I do say so myself: some of them ain’t half bad, but some definitely are. Sorry about that, haha!
