Calt application should have option to apply by single letter rather than global

It would be very desirable to have the feature to apply the calt option in the preview panel not just globally but also by selected single letter.
Likewise, it may be useful to have the same option for the other OT tables.

This would require a lot of programming and, in my opinion, would be of limited benefit. Also, calt need to be in context, so selecting one letter would do nothing. One would need to select at least the preceding letter too.
Just customise the preview text carefully for testing the OpenType features in your fonts, and check the boxes on and off to see the effect of combining different features. Contextual Alternates are enabled by default, but the Preview Toolbar lets you disable them to focus on the behaviour other features.

The WOFF test can also be used.
