BASE Table

Hi,
Would it be possible to support the
Baseline table (BASE)? I have a Tibetan font where it would be useful to specify the baseline as "
hang", as recommended by Microsoft.

It is high on the to-do list, so it is likely it will be included soon.

Hi Erwin,
Just checking when you expect the base table to be supported in FontCreator. I have had another request for my Tibetan font to include baseline metrics, as at present Tibetan text set in my font has to be manually adjusted vertically to harmonize with Latin text it is embedded in, so adding support for the base table is very important for me.

I'm sorry, but It didn't make it into version 12. It is still high on the to-do list, but so are a dozen other features. If more people request this enhancement, it is more likely we'll add it.
Right now we're working a new major release for MainType. After that we'll go back to the upcoming FontCreator 12.1.
