New Button to Switch Encoding in the Overview Caption
I would like a new button that converts glyph naming (caption) from decimal to hexadecimal and vice-versa instead of going to options dialog. As a suggestion a square with dec/hex or D/H or 10/16 on it or what else you prefer. Much thanks.
Re: New Button to Switch Encoding in the Overview Caption
You can use keyboard shortcuts to change the notation for codepoints: Ctrl+J to switch to decimal, or Ctrl+K to switch to hexadecimal.

Re: New Button to Switch Encoding in the Overview Caption
This setting is only found on the Options dialogue in MainType, not in FontCreator as far as I could see.
The shortcut is the quickest route, but a button on the Glyph Properties dialogue might be more accessible than on the already crowded toolbars.
The tooltip that shows on hovering the caption already shows

- Unicode character name
- Glyphname (postscript name)
- Decimal code-point
- Hexadecimal code-point
