Shortcut for Adding Anchor in Glyph Edit Window

Hi,
Also, I add this idea if we want Anchors to be with glyphs from the first inserting step
maybe this work in case (Anchors) in options window not suitable

I think (but not sure... need to experiment) in my work the better and easy idea to place Anchors at top and below base and ligature glyphs by use bonding box:

I am keeping an eye on this topic, and hope to see some enhancement that is effective and not too complicated to implement.

I think the editing of anchors could be easier. Opening a separate dialog to modify an anchor is tedious when done many times. Why not allow editing on the Anchor Manager dialog.

Something like this mock-up. Perhaps it also needs an Apply button, like the Glyph Properties dialog, but moving the anchors dynamically with the scroll buttons would be better since the anchors can be locked to prevent mistakes.

Glad to see that very nice ideas are coming out.. thanks to each of them for sharing such great ideas..one from me to provide an option to activate the anchor for all base glyphs included in the particular lookup (like here Anchor_3 for the class @M2B_B_1 of the lookup MarkToBase1)..don't know will it be useful or not.. Besides the idea of Anchor tool bar as suggested by @Husham will be very simple and useful too..

It is a very nice idea too, Also we need to think about Anchors for Mark and Cursive (exit and entry), maybe by adding another icon for each one inside Anchor tool bar!! Who knows how it will work?

There is seven windows deal with Anchors inside FontCreator, it can be unified with one window, I suppose same job will be done,in addition to Bhikkhu idea mentioned previously, I Make some improvement on it.

For now we will implement direct editing of the anchor position in the Anchor toolwindow. It is aimed to be released next year in the next major version. The other ideas are on the to-do list, but we have other enhancements that we feel are more important right now.

We will also allow selection of multiple anchors, so you can move (or delete) them together. And such move will support snap to grid and guidelines too.
