Glyph selector for Preview

Post by NinnaD »

In main view, select glyph(s), then Right-click > "Add to preview" option.

In OT Designer, e.g. in MtB or MtM Positioning, a button "Add glyph" and "Add class":
- if the selected class is Base (or Base+Mark), and no Mark class is chosen, preview would list all members of Base (or Base+Mark) with the currently displayed Mark;
- if the selected class is Mark, and no Base (or Base+Mark) is chosen, preview would list all members of Mark with the currently displayed Base (or Base+Mark);
- if the selected classes are both Base (or Base+Mark) & Mark, preview would list all members of Base (or Base+Mark) with all members of Mark.
This is example only, but other OT items could work in a similar manner.

Although hidden away, there is already a way to add those. Hold down Shift and then press key "P".

Right now the "+" sign at the right of the preview text will add the current input. You would like to have all combinations added to the preview. That sounds like a nice enhancement, but we would like to know what other people think of this before we consider implementing it.
