Viewing alternates in Open Type fonts

Hello,

I have several open type fonts installed on my machine, and while they show up in my Main Type review pane, none of the alternates are viewable here (basically, all the characters that aren't usable in Word) Am I doing something wrong, or is it just not possible to view these characters?

You're not doing anything wrong. The alternate characters are not mapped to any Unicode codepoint so they cannot currently be viewed in MainType.
