If you don't remember which character set a glyph is in, is there any way to search it by name?
Or is there any way to search by codepoint as in BabelMap?

Re: Finding a Particular Character
No, but I don't think it is difficult to implement such feature, so if others also see this as a welcome enhancement we'll certainly consider adding it.

I would like to see this too, but there doesn't seem to be much guidance on how to use 'Add to Background Application' once you've found the character that you're searching for. It seems to (try to) do an automatic copy and paste, but since it isn't immediately obvious whether it's going to work with the target application, there doesn't seem to be any advantage over copying from MainType, switching to the other program and pasting in the normal way.
