Start over????

I have seriously screwed up my font database. What steps must I go thru to completely remove everything, then re specify all the font folders so that they all reload, and all my fonts will be there......

This is what I do from time to time:

1. Uninstall MainType
2. Remove the font databases when asked
3. Reinstall MainType
4. Create font groups from folders

I am doing it now, just for fun. It's not difficult if you have only a few thousands fonts, but may take a while for users with tens of thousands of fonts. All done now after about seven minutes. I now have 4,094 fonts in my library. I will need to recreate a couple of font layouts. I don't really use font tagging.

Now to figure out how to do a complete back-up, just in case I screw up again - very possible!!!!

The reload of my fonts is underway..... gonna take a while.....

I do a lot of carving, if you know of a source(s) for Celtic style fonts, please let me know..... I have a few, but always looking for another.....
