Where are uninstalled fonts located?

Hi:
When I uninstall fonts that are in Windows/Fonts, I see that the files are no longer present in that folder, but they are still available in MT Library. Where are the files moved to?

They can still exist in other locations on your file system, but will also remain in the MainType vault. In MainType you can see all locations where it found the fonts (in the Font Information panel) and you can delete them from MainType if you want.

I have the same question:
I uninstalled a font which on my system exists only in Windows/Fonts. Now it is not visible in the file-explorer. But an alternative search-app can still find it in Windows/Fonts and nowhere else. Maybe it is only deactivated there and the file-explorer shows only the activated fonts? Or where does MT move the font file?
