Main Type freezing since update to 8.0

Hi, I updated to the latest version the other day and have had issues ever since. Any time that I try to navigate around the program, it freezes, and I have to open the task manager to shut it down.

Erwin, thank you again for your quick response. I was blown away by your kindness in helping me solve the issue. I'm a bit of a font fanatic. Well, a crazy font fanatic, actually! Erwin was able to isolate some really wacky fonts that were using too much of Windows resources (hopefully I explained that correctly!). Anyway, he found some fonts that were causing problems for me, and Main Type is working wonderfully, as always. Thank you so, so much! I'm so grateful for your help!!!
