Character Map

I received a new computer for Mother's Day and finally got all my fonts installed. When I installed MainType, the character map isn't working on my installed fonts only the computer fonts. Anything I can do that I haven't already done: uninstall & reinstalled, restarted computer.

How to Take Screenshots in Windows (Note the file size and clarity of my screenshot compared to your camera image, which was originally 2.1 Mbytes)

Your screenshot does not show how many fonts are installed, but you are running the free version, which is limited to 2,500 fonts. I wonder if that might be the reason?

How many fonts are in your font library?

I am also having the same issue. I have a new computer, downloaded the main type and I have 393 in my library which are all green (State) and I have 682 Active fonts which are all red (state) the ones with red will not display the character map. Please help.

Try running the Registry Fixer from the Tools menu.

It is a known issue that will be fixed with the next upcoming major release.

This issue has been fixed with the release of MainType 9 earlier this week.
