type1 postscript fonts

I can't seem to load or install postscript fonts. Both pfm and pfb files are in the font folder.

I remember reading something about type one fonts and windows 10. Should it work?

I'm on windows 1903, maintype 7 - 1032

well I just updated to maintype 9 to see if that helped: and none of my postscript fonts are now even in my library.

Regular PostScript Type 1 fonts are still supported by Windows 10, but not the multiple master fonts.

MainType also supports regular PostScript Type 1 fonts.

And today not only can maintype 9 see all the type 1 fonts, but can also load them. So go figure

I'm not sure if this is exactly the cause of your issue, but we've also had a rare issue were Windows was no longer able to detect fonts, and a reboot solved that issue.
