Why Can I Only See 4 of 6400 Characters In the Private Use Area

Post by livystone »

Why can I only access 4 of the 6400 characters for a paticular font in the character map. How do I see/access all of them. For example, for the font I'm looking at, I can only see the letters g, i, l and a, but I know there are private use characters for all the letters.

Click the Unicode Icon at the top left of the Character Panel to toggle to Glyph Mode and show characters beyond the normal Unicode character sets.

You should see them all, so I suspect the font just has 4 PUA characters.

To see all glyphs in the font, do use the icon as Bhikkhu Pesala already suggests.

Let us know your results.
