Is it possible to view the special/alternative/swash characters of Open Type fonts in the Character panel?
For instance, I have a font with several alternate/decorative caps that I would like to see all options laid out in the Character panel, but I only see the 'standard' caps of each letter, and the 'extended Latin' versions (standard, but with accents over the letters, etc).
Is it possible to view the alternate characters in MT version 9 or 10?

Re: Viewing Alternate/Special/Swash Characters in Character Panel
To view unmapped glyphs in MainType 9, switch from character mode to glyph mode by clicking the Unicode icon at the top of the Character Panel.
In MainType 10 you can view them by enabling the relevant OpenType feature, e.g. for Stylistic Alternates (salt), in the Sample Panel.
