Multiple font Preview Pane

Hello!

I think it would be nice if there was a sort of preview pane where you could add characters and then change fonts and still retain the font characters you had last entered (still in the former font).

This would also enable you to compare glyphs from two fonts side by side - a handy feature.

God bless!

PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! Give us Multiple Fonts in the preview pane!!!! We are book publishers and appreciate Main Type but would appreciate it a whole lot more if we could access multiple fonts in the preview pane. Especially if we could, for example, type a sample paragraph of say Garamond and apply headings above it in different fonts and sizes to test the suitability of the combinations. As it is now, we have to select a try-out font in high Logic and then transfer operations to Adobe Indesign to test the combinations. It's messy and to have this inclusion it would really professionalize High Logic. But It must have the ability to retain that combination of text and heading on the preview pane while you try out a different combination below it. The reason we don't do all this in Indesign is because the programme doesn't present the fonts large enough for good design purpose.

There's also a great need to simply separate fonts into all the catagories: Serif, Sans Serif, Script, Decorative. Also it would be handy to be able to break up fonts into historical periods of their introduction.

Thanks a lot
and God Bless
