Better backup procedure

Post by Enigma »

It would be nice if it was possible to make backups from within MainType 4. FmsConfig should be accessible from within the MainType GUI - it would be okay if MainType itself was closed after calling FmsConfig.

It would be nice if there was a way to schedule backups, too. For example, a backup could be made each time MainType is closed, or every nth time, or only the first time it's closed on that day, or...

Cheers,
Jan
You have moved the mouse. Windows must be restarted for the changes to take effect.

Creating backups requires elevation and we do not want MainType to rely on elevation. Scheduling backups and backup reminders would be a nice addition, i've added it to our "wishlist".

That's a good argument.
