Adding a font to a Group could also add its entire Family, creating an expandable list of the whole family with a click. The top/default font of that family could also be changeable, instead of being chosen alphabetically.

Did you know you can set your font list to family grouping? This way you don't have to create your groups manually, and you can easily turn it on and off using the button on the toolbar
