Ability to edit the Classification and also to add custom Foundry. I have many fonts from small, single-person foundries and I need to be able to add their name to the font. Being able to set the Classification, could then use the Tags to indicate whether I purchased the font or if it was free and what usage is allowed, instead of using Tags to Classify fonts.

MainType is not a font editor, and there are legal issues with modifying fonts to change important details like the foundry

I don't mean to actually edit the font; allow database entries to those fields. Since many designers do not bother adding a Classification, that becomes a useless field as it stands. The program could read the db entry instead of a blank entry from the font.

You've already voiced your support for @LadyCritique's request for a Notes feature. Isn't this the same thing?
