Compact Layout for 1024x768 Monitors

The image below is an animated PNG image. Most browsers support this image format now. If your browser does not, you will only see the first layout.

I made use of autohide for the Character, Font Information, and Sample Panes.

I’ve been overlooking that useful feature. Bringing it into play should be a big help on my relatively small screen.
