Funny Bug with Composite Glyhs

Post by mneumann »

I have a funny bug related to composite glyphs. I am creating composites, or just even editing an existing font with composites, and within FontCreator is everything fine. But once you install the font and test it, some of the accents are way up in the sky. Not all of them, but certain characters are just doing that, until you turn them into simple glyphs. If you look at the font again in FontCreator, the positions are absolutely correct. There does not seem to be a clear patten on which characters are affected, but it is happening to me and I dont understand why. I can send a sample if it is of any interest.

The bug is caused by scaling of composite glyph members. Either turn off scaling or make the composite simple after composing.
