I scanned my hand drawn lettering in to the program and everything looks o.k. it will print etc however the line weight is too light can this be fixed?
I scan in images for some fonts the line weight when on screen and printed is too light, how do you fix?

If you're using the Professional Edition of FontCreator, or the Trial Edition (the same program), you can use a glyph transformation to increase the weight. Horizontal and Vertical strokes can be modified by different amounts.
See this tutorial on Working with Transformations and this PDF file Using Glyph Transformations.
You can also use the Dilate or Erode filters when importing your scanned images.
