Font ttf to bdf
Font ttf to bdf
Hi, I need font in bdf format. I use for conversion otf2bdf(in ubuntu), but font is ever created with the same size. How can I set size and number of chars? I need only first 256 chars and size width: 6-10 and height 10-14 Is there any simply font for it? THX for your replies.

I had not known of bdf format until I read your post, so thank you for drawing it to my attention.
I searched for bdf font at http://www.google.com and found the following link, amongst others.

That page includes the following.
So hopefully the font can be edited using a text editor.
The external link for the specification is broken, but I tried a search at http://www.google.com as follows.
5005.BDF_Spec.pdf
I have not found the pdf as directly accessible as yet, though there is one link, the first one, that displays the pages as HTML pages or something like that.
The link appears to be as follows.
http://www.fileformat.info/format/bdf/s ... 6/view.htm
I found that by clicking on the small picture of a floppy disc that I was able to download a copy of the pdf to local storage.
