Hi

I have made a true type font of my logo, it coimprises just two characters, 'K' and 'O'

This works perfectly on my Windows system and I can produce PDF files using Distiller 5.0 which can be opened OK on my colleague's MAC for viewing and printing and his copy of Acrobat tells him that the font is embedded.

I have sent him the TTF file but when he tries to install it on his MAC he gets:

"The file cannot be opened because no sample is provided for it"

Can anyone explain this?

Is there any way to produce a TTF file that can be read on a MAC?

Thanks

Barry

The Yamada Language Center at the University of Oregon has links to some PC to Mac font conversion utilities. Please note that the programs are shareware, I have not used any of these utilities and cannot say anything as to their usefullness or benign nature, and that Erwin and High-Logic have nothing to do with this. The U of O can cover their own butts.
