[FIXED] Characters with codepoints higher than $FFFF can't be displayed correctly

Post by LittleWhiteDog »

Characters with codepoints higher than $FFFF can be processed correctly and the font can be generated properly. But these characters won't be displayed on the template page, just their values will be displayed. (Is this an issue with UTF-16 surrogate pair?)

I'm sure the reference font I'm using (Source Han Serif) do support these characters, and they can be displayed in Libre Office just fine.

Some of these characters are important to Chinese people, they can be found on the periodic table of elements or in ancient books, and some dialects also use these characters. If I can't see them on the template page, then it will be difficult to write them.

So I hope you can fix this problem, thanks!

This issue will be fixed with the next upcoming update. Then you will only see the codepoints when no header font is provided.
