Certain characters not working

I've looked everywhere I can think of, but can't find any help. I hope someone here might be able to help me. Sorry if this post is a little off-topic.

I made a font using Font Creator 3.1.3, then converted it to an embedded font for use on my website. All the characters work perfectly except for special characters, like middot, the copyright symbol, the degree symbol, etc. If I change my stylesheet to use the fonts installed on my system instead of the embedded fonts, everything works.

I'm used the Microsoft Weft program to do the conversion.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I don't have the answer you need, being new here... but what's the site? Can we see the issue?
