Font Creator 6.01 update oddity

When installing the Font Creator 6.01 update, the following occured:

The installation proceeded to a normal conclusion but is the program now time-limited?

No, it is due to a problem with a DLL that came with version 6.0.0. For some reason the dll is not updated when you install version 6.0.1 over version 6.0. You need to first uninstall all versions of FontCreator e.g. 6. Then reinstalling version 6.0.1 should solve the problem.

Your kind recommendation has resolved the issue (although the same error message occurred during the uninstall process). I was able to clean-install, re-register and use Font Creator 6.01 without incident. Thank you very much.

I can confirm this oddity. Even after removing all previous versions from my system I got the error message when installing 6.0.1. Still waiting for the registration code, though...

You might be able to manually replace the DLL that is in your system folder with this one:
http://www.high-logic.com/FontInstaller.dll

Copy and paste the DLL into :
C:\Windows\System32

I uninstall and than reinstall font creator and still the same massage Have anybody an idea if I have varsion 6.0.1? its still on the top varsion 6.0
