Filled glyphs in FlashMX

Post by cal »

I've created a pixel font that works fine. here's a gif made in paint shop pro: (photoshop, word, wordpad, etc all work too)
http://www.iamcal.com/files/hello_test.gif

but when i use it with flash mx (embedded), then this happens:

(for those who can't see, all the "hollow bits" (like the e and the o) are filled in. is this a bug in flash, or something i've done wrong with the font file? the font is here:

Chaning the direction of your contours probably solves your problem.

Let us know if this helps.

it was actually an issue with intersecting contours.

after my toils, i've written a tutorial to creating pixel fonts using FCP, which i think quite a few of your users might find useful:

thanks for all your help :)
