Can someone help me with a MS Word problem? I would like to be able to force a block of text to display in a particular font. It seems that Word will automatically use a substitute font for those characters not supported by the requested font. I would like to disable this substitution so that unsupported characters show up with the "unsupported" glyph (eg. box), flagging that it is unsupported, rather than approximating it from another font. This is often how I test a font to see if the glyphs I want are implemented, but the automatic substitution defeats this. I imagine I am doing something wrong, as this should be in the control of the user, not forced to automatic.
Thanks.
Can I disable font substitution in MS Word?

I don't know the answer; you could try to post your message to a Microsoft Word newsgroup.
