Printing using the font created in FCP4

Post by larcinas »

Hi, i just started using FCP and I tried printing a document that uses the font I created. My problem is , it doesnt print on WORD, NOTEPAD but prints whenever I used photoshop (the font being an image)

What I did is I use the clipboard to paste an image on the FCP glyph window and tried to edit the image. I installed and test it, it was fine. but when I print a word document - the font didnt print...

What could be the problem

thanks for your help

There are many reasons for this to happen.

Maybe the printer driver (from a HP Laser printer) substitutes a font that does not support the characters. It might help to change the font name to something that is not recognized as a common font. Otherwise try to set "Print TrueType as graphics" in your printer settings.

If this isn't helping, do post more specific information (is the font a Unicode or Symbol font, etc) to the forum.
