small sized fonts

Post by Pole-creek »

I downloaded your trial software and imported letters(JPG) size 30 to 600 to make a font. The font came put looking great and tested well at 24 - 78 but i want to use it at 12 or 14. It was all washed out at this size. Is there any way to correct this automatically? I was able to correct it on one letter by essentialy rebuilding the letter by hand.

Thanks!

Does the font print badly, or just display badly on screen? Screens have much lower resolution than printers, and do not display small-sized fonts without help. This help is hinting. FCP does not support hinting, so fonts created by FCP will not look as good on-screen as professional fonts. They print just as well, though.
