is it possible to install the ttf file to excel?

Post by a »

Dear All,
I want to create a new front... the new font will be an image .... for example, if I hit the key "7" the image will appear on a word or excel document.
My first problem is that once i created the font and installed it ... I tested it on word.. but it didn't come out what i want.... it appeared this "~" I have no clue why this happened... i followed the steps on the tutorial....
I also tested it on the font creator program...
when I opened the ttf file.... the file doesn't contain the image....
Please help me to solve the problem

Second problem ... is it possible to use the font in Excel?

thx

To answer your first question we need more information. Could you send the font file to me, so I can take a look at it?

Answer to your second question:
Most word processing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing and graphic design programs are able to accept true type fonts. This definitely includes Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Hi Erwin ,
Can I send my file to your e-mail account? If so, what is your e-mail address?

In order for others to view using your font, you need to embed the font in your file. I have no idea how that works on particular apps, but it should be in the help files. Also, make sure your font's permissions include embedding.
