The top of my symbol font is cut off

I have created a symbol font but the top of the font is not showing. I can see the line that marks the top of the symbol in FCP but I am not sure how to set it higher. How do I raise the top of the font?

On the dialog box Format Settings->Windows tab I have set the Typo Ascender to 2000 and the Typo Descender to 0. I did the same on the Header tab. This did not change the top value used in the font. The top line on the font is still approx 1650 and the top of the font is still cut off. I expected to see the top line move up when I set the Typo Ascender to 2000 but that did not happen. What else do I need to do to move the top of the font up?

I see that there is a Typo Ascender and a Win Ascent. I set the wrong one. I changed the Win Ascent and the top of the font raised up. Thanks.
