more than one colour in characters

Post by xxchris »

I need to find a way to colour the characters of a handwriting font "stroke by stroke", eg "a" - 2 strokes- 2 colours, say red for the round part and green for the straight line. Does anybody know if this is possible with font creator at all and if so, how? Thx!

No. It is not possible. Truetype fonts have no colour attribute. Contours can be filled with black • or filled with white o.

Try a DTP application like Page Plus (version 9 is now available very cheap) or Draw Plus 4. Type the text, break it into curves, then apply the different colours.
