I have been using Vegas Pro video editing software for nearly 10 years. I have also Font Creator original license software.
Unfortunately Vegas Pro software doesn’t display some of my fonts.
I was searching Google for a solution. I have just read that Vegas Pro doesn’t handle OpenType fonts in many cases. The better font format for Vegas Pro editing software is TrueType. Such TrueType font should be displayed in most cases.
I have some questions to you:
- Is it possible to convert OTF (OpenType) to TTF (TrueType) fonts in batch processing way in FontCreator?
- What is the most common problem that some fonts are not available in some various softwares? Why some software shows some fonts, and other softwares shows other fonts. Why not all softwares doesn’t display all fonts installed in Windows system. Is it a fact that OTF fonts are much more problematic? Or Maybe there is something missing in specified font and it doesn’t depend on if it is OTF or TTF?
- I come from Poland, and I speak and write Polish language. In Polish alphabet we have extra Polish letters which are not available in English alphabet. Sometimes I add these extra Polish letters in some fonts in Font Creator software, but it doesn’t display these Polish letters properly In Vegas Pro video editing software in built in font editor? Why? Is it a problem of bad created font? Or maybe there is something missing in such font? Or it is a problem of Vegas Pro built in font editor? Why Arial font always work properly in all various software? Is it because of it contains all required infromation inside the font?
- If FontCreator is not able to convert OTF to TTF, can you recommend me some other software which would convert these fonts for me in batch processing way? Does online converters are good ones?[/ist]
Please help me
I really apprieciate help
