When manipulating a shape via Scale, Tilt, and so on, it always changes the shape from the point clicked on.
Is there a way to set the transform origin anchor point when manipulating a shape?
for example, in photoshop when you scale with Transform Tool and hold ALT, it scales from the center.
and if there is an anchor set, it scales from that anchor point
Resize from center / from anchor

Re: Resize from center / from anchor
- Click on a contour to select it
- Click on it again to show the rotate handles at the corners and the centre of rotation at the centre
- Move the centre of rotation before rotating or skewing the contour
- Hold down the Shift key to rotate in steps of 15°
- Drag the side handles to skew the contour, e.g. for italic (
- One can also use the Transform Toolbar (F6) and change the centre of rotation there to one of nine points

Great thanks, that's part of the answer.Bhikkhu Pesala wrote: ↑Sat Feb 16, 2019 3:25 pmRotate Object.png

What about resizing?
By the way, when doing a transform through the F6 window, it ignores the anchor point

Scale and size both working from the selected anchor point using the Transform Toolbar.
