You need to enlarge the English glyphs.

I enlarged it to 175% but the problem is the same.

I even copied the whole English letters (small & capital) from other font, but the problem is the same.

Try recalculating the font metrics.

After recalculating the font metrics the font name in the selection drop list looks fine. I dropped the _underscore in the font name and replaced the zero with Capital O.

Since some of the Arabic glyphs have high Ascent and Descent values, the Cap Height and x-height are always going to be relatively small compared to some Latin Based fonts. The proportion of the English Glyphs looks good to me. No need to enlarge them any further, or they would look out of place if you use English product names in Arabic text.

I have done the following:

1- renamed the whole font as ABCD.
2- recalculating the metrics minimum and maximum.
3- installed the font on a different pc.
4- testing the font name on office 2010-2019.

but no success

I solved the problem by opening a new file and did the following:

1- insert same glyphs count.
2- copy the glyphs from old font with code points.
3- copy the same metrics
4- import the open type layout OTL to the new files.
5- delete old fonts from font folder.
6- install the new fonts.

the problem came back although I've redone all the above

Maybe the font contains other glyphs with excessive proportions.

For Arabic fonts there are some characters which tend to have excessive vertical dimensions in those fonts which include them, for example $06DD 'End of Ayah' and $06E9 'Place of Sajdah'.

It might be informative to look at the font information dialog in Font Creator to determine which character has the maximum height 'Y Maximum'.
