I downloaded the trial version, but it won't let me use it without a registration code, which I don't have even though I supplied my name and email address. How can I try something that I can't even access?

Have you installed FontCreator earlier, more than 30 days ago? The trial version expires after 30 days if I remember rightly.

FontCreator runs on Windows 10, 8, 7, and Vista. During the free 30-day trial period, it runs in professional edition mode, so all features are enabled, but generated fonts will contain watermarks.

No. I downloaded and installed it 6 hours ago on a computer I bought last month. When I clicked to confirm my email address, all it did was take me to the download page, and I never got a registration number.

You get a license after you've paid for it.

You can try the software without a license, so you can decide if it is worth your money.

No, I can not try it without a license, because it will not let me past the request for registration. The only options I have when I load the software are Buy Online, Check for Updates, and Enter Registration Code. If I choose the first option, it takes me to a page to pay, which defeats the whole purpose of having a trial version. If I choose the 2nd option, it says it's running the most current version, and then the program closes completely. If I choose the third option, it wants me to enter a code, obviously. But since I was never sent a code, I do not have one to enter.

So, let me try this again.

How is anyone supposed to try this program out before buying, when it requires a registration code that is never provided?

I now see what is going on. There is indeed an issue, so let me get back to this later today.

Maybe I should also note that there's red text that says, "This version is too old; please check for updates." This was why I clicked the "Check for Updates" button, but then it just connects to the update server, then tells me, "No updates found. You are already using the most recent version of FontCreator." When I click to dismiss that popup, the whole program shuts down.

I don't want to be a nuisance, but any progress on this? Although the trial period is 30 days (29 now), this isn't much for someone who has very limited free time.

We will need some more time to fix this issue.
