Font Name Display in WORD

Post by KAM »

I just created a font that is made up of various math symbols. The problem is when the name is displayed in the WORD font drop down list, the actual font is used and it is hard to determine the actual name of my font.

I notice that Symbol font (among some others) in WORD have the Font Name "Symbol" in a different font along with some sample symbol characters.

I need this option on my font.

1. I do not want to change WORD options to display this way as my many users will not do this (and I do not want it for all the fonts).
2. I have seen some postings on this subject for the reverse problem and it mentions:
"creating without (or with?) the Latin 1 Code set"

How do I set the font to display the name of the font in standard font in WORD? And if I need to change something to (or not to) Latin 1 code set - where do I find that setting to change it or even determine how mine is set?

Thanks!

btw: this is an EXCELLENT product.
