Help about kerning pairs and classes
I am having issues with kerning pairs and classes. When I make a kerning pair, for instance uppercase V with lower case a, it shows normally in a preview window, there is a normal space fixed with kerning, in the control window as well (for both V and a). There is an adjustment between the 2 letters. But when I open a window to test the font, it's like I've never done any kerning at all. Now, I am currently running a FontCreator V13. which is a trial version. I also tried the test version of the font in Illustrator, it shows the same, no kerning between any pairs I made. Is it a limitation of a trial version or it's a bug?

I suspect you have not connected it to the right script and language, but a screenshot or the font project file allow us to better understand the issue.

I will attach some screenshots.
This is how the open type designer looks like when I am adding pair adjustments (I made some classes).
And I was just trying to click some things to see if I can make a difference, honestly without knowing what I'm doing and I clicked this one button:
And when I clicked ok and returned to the testing window, everything seemed fine. All spacing was there. Now if I could know why this happened that would be great, lol.
Because I thought it was enough to make pair adjustment kerns and that would be enough.

I do not see anything wrong, so please send the font project to us. That way we can try to reproduce, locate, and fix potential bugs.

Re: Help about kerning pairs and classes
I think it should all work fine. However it seems kerning is not always activated when testing CFF based fonts in the Font Test window. Better use the Web Font test.
Also ensure the features are in Latin -> Default, not in Default -> Default.

Yes, it is Latin. What can I do if it's a CFF based font? I'm afraid I won't be able to make fonts using your software.
One more thing, I can't connect to your website from any browser. It keeps telling me that the connection is not secured

Re: Help about kerning pairs and classes
It is not an issue with our software as far as we know but a more general issue in Windows. I should not worry about it, but you can always export with TrueType based outlines.
It works just fine here:

What browser do you use?
