Search and replace glyphs by name

Post by samy »

Hello,
I'm looking for a way to search for a glyph by name and replace it with a glyph with another name.
I will give an example:
Some fonts have a glyph called "test" and a glyph called "test1",
I want the contour (and other properties) that currently exist in a glyph called "test" to move to a glyph called "test1" and vice versa - that the contour (and other properties) that exist in a glyph called "test1" will move to a glyph called "test",
Doing the process manually using "copy-paste" would be tedious as there are many glyphs as well as many fonts.
Is this possible with font creator?

Thanks!

You can do a bulk renamed of glyphs by name patterns, but no glyphs are copied in the process. Their code-points remain the same.
