Chromatic Fonts Month provides an opportunity to think about and discuss the possibilities for chromatic fonts and maybe make progress towards implementing chromatic font technology.

The Chromatic Fonts Month poster for 2007 is now available.

The fonts used to produce the poster are all of my own design and are all available for free download from the following web page.

http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~ngo/fonts.htm

The fonts used to produce the poster are ordinary TrueType fonts, not chromatic fonts, as the technology of chromatic fonts is not available at the present time.

The web page http://www.adobe.com/devnet/opentype/ar ... ntype.html has the following.
The OpenType font format, jointly developed by Microsoft and Adobe, offers a new generation of typographic features and benefits for users, type designers, and application developers.
As one activity for Chromatic Fonts Month 2007 I am thinking of asking Microsoft and Adobe if they will please consider extending the OpenType specification so that it has chromatic font capabilities.

As Microsoft and Adobe are both large corporations I am now seeking to find out how one goes about making such a request.

Does anyone have any suggestions of how to make such a request to Microsoft and Adobe please?
